This training provides guidance for practitioners around developing an enabling learning environment for all learners.

In this workshop you will learn easy to implement strategies that you can use either in the classroom or in your planning that will support children with SLCN.
This workshop includes strategies and guidance on the following areas:

-The importance of using meaningful activities in learning experiences.
-Using visuals to aid understanding
-The importance of modelling in all curriculum areas
-Supporting children’s learning with writing frames and task planners
-How using mixed ability groups can support learning
-Creating independency and learning how to identify and ask for help
-Support and scaffolding around questioning
-Strategies to support sentence construction, vocabulary and literacy learning
-Providing emotional support
