The Dyslexia Team are a team of specialist teachers working to support the educational needs of Hammersmith and Fulham children and young people who are struggling to acquire literacy and/or numeracy skills. A formal diagnosis of dyslexia or dyscalculia is not required to access this service. The team work with teachers, support staff and parents to facilitate the access of children and young people to the curriculum.
This a is a traded service. Individual schools buy in specialist teacher time for a morning or afternoon or a whole day per week for one academic year. The hourly rate is £85.
Schools can buy a one off assessment of literacy skills, numeracy skills or a full dyslexia assessment. The cost for an assessment is £750.
