Understanding Spoken Language Primary (111224)

Children and young people are required to listen to a huge amount of information, instructions and questions every day in our settings. Children and young people with SLCN can find spoken language more difficult to understand and process. This workshop provides in-class strategies to support you to make your information, instructions and questions as accessible, inclusive and easy to understand and follow as possible. In this session you will learn easy-to-implement in class strategies as well as interventions that support children and young people to develop their understanding.
