Playing with Words (suitable for EYFS, or older if appropriate) (010525)

Join this workshop to learn more about delivering a ‘Playing with Words’ group. ‘Playing with Words’ is a small group activity which aims to support children to learn and use ‘everyday’ [Tier 1] vocabulary through themed play. Areas of communication this activity supports include: listening and attention; vocabulary; building sentences. Each week has a different theme such as ‘In the morning’ and ‘Going shopping.’ We will share resources to help you run ‘Playing with Words’ sessions in your own setting following the workshop.
